A SEEING EYE

 Matthew 13:12/16 NKJV

[13] Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 

[16] But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 


A SEEING EYE.


First and foremost, I emphasize the importance of a seeing eye; as Jesus said, the eye is the lamp of the Body.


Lamp enables a smooth flow in whatever path a man has chosen to follow or finds himself, whether by Grace or by circumstances in life.


Let's see the genesis of sight from a deep spiritual perspective and how important it is for the creator to have advanced nothing until clarity was established. (The spiritual eye)


Genesis chapter 1:3-4 

 « 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  In the next verse, Jehovah saw that the light was good, or else, He continued nothing.


How important is your sight? A man cannot advance in nothing until the eyes of his understanding is enlightened. 


The spirit of the Lord hovered over the face of the deep, and the first establishment was an agenda to aid the clarity of sight .... "And there was light" "And God saw". 

This is very powerful.


There are 3 most important things that a seeing eye determines for a man.


1. Association/Disassociation 


2.  Reach (how far you can go)


3. Gratefulness (a thankful heart)


Shortly, we will look at how a seeing eye determines the direction of a man's life through association.


YOUR EYES DETERMINES YOUR ASSOCIATION.


When God called Abram, His first promise to him was to SHOW him an inheritance; But, depending on the capacity of his sight, God made more promises.


However, Abram's association with lot delayed his relationship with God, hence, God couldn't advance in His affairs with Abram until Lot left him. 

(Abram had not seen)


Since Genesis chapter 12:1 from whence God spoke to Abram about His plans for him, He never spoke with him again until Lot left him in chapter 13:14

« 14. And the Lord said unto Abram, *after that Lot was separated from him,* Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:  »

 

The moment Abram saw, the promises began to manifest. 

PRAYER: May God's plan for my life manifest this year. Amen 🙏 


Finally, there was a man called the blind Bartimaeus. 

Luke 18:35 KJV  « 35. And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:  »


Hope you know that this man despite his blindness, has an ambition to follow (associate with) Jesus and to live a life that brings glory to God; but his deficiency of sight could not permit that, so he contended for his sight to be restored.


He has associated himself with those who constantly kept him quiet all the days of his life because of his blindness.


Jesus heard his struggle and restored his sight then the evil garment that associated him with the wrong persons was dropped and since then he followed and glorified God and his past was no more.


PRAYER 

Lord Jesus, show me your promises.

Open my spiritual eyes and disassociate me from every evil clique that has suspended your promises and blessings for my life.

Help me to follow you so my life can bring glory to your holy name Amen 🙏

A SEEING EYES PART 2

  Matthew 6:22 "If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light"  Man is a living being whose existence is engineered spiritually. Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  It is this breath that carries the vision of a man. This knowledge about prayer will set you in fire. The Most important understanding we need to have about prayer is that it's primary purpose is for reference and access circumventing the haste to communicate our needs. “...For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.(Matt 6:8) We oftentimes prioritize communion above acceptance. Then we neglect the most important; access to the secrets. Come to think of it, You don't communicate with a being you have no access to; the reason Jesus demanded that we shut the door, for the purpose of access to the secret place where the Lord dwells (Matt 6:6) check that scripture again.
