ABIDING IN CHRIST (John 15:7)
Jesus to many, is still a story (fictitious tale), a veil yet to be uncovered and understood, else, talking about abiding in Him will be another story heading towards confusion, entangled in obscurity.
For clarity, when I say Jesus, I'm not just talking about a name written in the scriptures, with inks and prints. I mean an embodiment of a believe system the "logos" saddled with the responsibility of salvation for those who are chosen; yes, the chosen.
(John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.)
To abide with Christ means to be one with Him; accepting His life, death and resurrection. Now, this is where the story begins for understanding. (Life, Death and Resurrection)
The life and the death of Christ is a vast topic unwrapped through eternity; for Christ began before the the foundation of the Earth, also was He slain before the foundation of the same(John 1:1-3, Rev 13:8 please read for clarity).
Only His resurrection which is forever began after His pilgrimage on earth.
Now, because of the nature of His life and death, to abide in Him requires a baptism and not just of water but of the spirit in order to be able to catch up at least with the essence of His sacrifice as a lamb, which will further be revealed to us, of His resurrection, and this is the hope of every believer, "life after death".
It's already clumsy to want to abide in a being one has no fore knowledge about or an encounter with, just like Saul who was converted contrary to his believe system.
To be one with Chris, His Life, Death and Resurrection through an encounter, must be a conscious truth that governs one's existence.
Abiding in Christ is not debatable, it is a reality that must be conceived, if we must do business with the souls He came to die for. But unfortunately, many are involved in a fraudulent business, attempting to seduce away the agenda of Christ into darkness all in the name of the pulpit.
Here i drop my pen, but without further ado,
What do you know about the Life, the Death and the Resurrection of Christ as a Christian that you are?
